Day 31

Thursday was our last full day in Chicago.  After swimming, Eric and Danielle met up with us at the hotel, and we walked to Michigan Avenue to do some shopping.

After lunch we walked over to Urban Outfitters.  It was a GORGEOUS day.

After dropping off our bags at the hotel, we went back to the Navy Pier.

It was a free night at the Children's museum at the pier, so we braved the crowds for a while and let the boys play.

they took one more ride on the ferris wheel.

We ate at Harry Carry's for dinner.  Violet was just happy to be out of the carrier!

It was a great way to end our vacation....

Day 28

Wednesday in Chicago started out the same...breakfast, swimming, get ready to go. We spent about 5 hours at the Shedd Aquarium, and came back to the hotel.  We took a walk, hit up a supermarket for some green vegetables, and had leftovers for dinner!

The wait to get in to the aquarium was at least 2 hours long...

but Daddy saved the day by purchasing our VIP passes before we left.  We were able to bypass the lines just like rockstars!

We ate lunch on the veranda with a spectacular view of the skyline.  You could even see the Navy Pier and the lighthouse.

Shark eggs!  You could see the baby sharks moving around inside.

We were parked under Soldier Field!

Still all smiles on the ride back to the hotel!

and, they're OUT!
